Provista is launched with our first Remote Monitoring and Engineering customer on board. 01/08/06 - Provista announce the appointment of Stuart Little as a Director and Technical Solutions Manager. Stuart brings with him a wealth of project engineering and support experience of both Cisco and Nortel equipment, and will assist in expanding our projects business as well as increase our managed service customer base. 03/08/06 - Provista become a Nortel sales partner for Ethernet Routing and Switching. 25/08/06 - Provista become a Solutions partner for Nortel IP SME Telephony. 19/09/06 - Provista increases its IPT Remote Monitoring and Engineering customer base to over 4000 handsets. 25/10/06 - Provista achieve Sales Partner for Secure Wireless LAN and Solutions Partner for Secure Remote Access Solutions, increasing our growing portfolio of Nortel accreditations. 01/11/06 - Provista announce the appointment of two new senior technical specialists. Toby McMichael and Chris Wallace bring a wealth of experience and will allow Provista to deliver Converged Data & Voice services to our growing customer portfolio. 07/11/06 - Provista provide technical expertise to Cisco Gold partner to assist in completion of major Cisco Unified Communications and network infrastructure roll-out. 20/12/06 - Provista successfully complete upgrades to Cisco IP telephony customer in the oil industry. The upgrades included multiple Cisco Callmanager clusters at the company headquarters and at off-shore platform locations. 05/01/07 - Provista exceed year one financial targets. 15/01/07 - Provista complete Cisco Unified Communications migration for a large Scottish Executive Organisation. The project included migrating 100 new and re-configuring 150 existing IP Telephony users for Extension Mobility functionality, and providing a seamless transition from their existing legacy telephony infrastructure. 01/02/07 - Provista provide customised call billing and reporting solution to Scottish Executive Organisation. 01/02/07 - Provista deploy SIP-based IP telephony solution at short notice for customer in the media industry. 22/02/07 - Provista provide customised call billing and reporting solution to large public-sector body with over 10,000 Cisco IP Telephony handsets. 01/03/07 - Provista provide network and security specialist as a long-term resource to large health organisation. 10/03/07 - Provista deploy a complete Cisco Unified Communications solution for Glasgow-based contact centre in the technology sector. Other competitors failed to meet the timescale demands of the customer, but Provista delivered the project on-time and on-budget, with no disruption to the core business for the customer. 01/04/07 - Provista move into prestigious purpose-built premises within Hamilton International Technology Park, Glasgow. 01/04/07 - Provista provide consultancy and complete major network re-configuration for Scottish Executive Organisation. This included deploying OSPF across multiple sites in order to achieve the required network resiliency. 04/04/07 - Provista complete roll-out of Cisco Unified Communications to WAN sites for public-sector customer, providing them with cost-effective and feature-rich IP Communications throughout their organisation. 05/05/07 - Provista Remote Monitoring and Engineering customer base continues to grow with over 5000 Cisco IP Telephony handsets on-board. 12/07/07 - Provista deploy large Nortel wireless solution to a College of Further Education in Scotland. Based on “Light Access Points” and using Webportal for student access. Secure access for College Wireless devices using 802.1x integrated in Novell E-Directory for single sign on. 12/07/07 - Provista renew Cisco Channel Partner status 20/10/07 - Provista are appointed primary network consultants for network upgrade of multi-national oil company. Provista provide detailed technical design and manage the tender process to ensure value for the customer. 25/10/07 - Provista successfully install high-spec Cisco ASA firewall pair to one of the Top 10 UK providers of outsourced contact centre services. 01/11/07 - Provista announce the appointment of 2 new permanent employees. Iain MacLellan brings a wealth of industry and business experience to Provista and is appointed as Service Delivery Manager. James McMichael brings strong customer-facing and technical skills to complement the existing technical team. 01/11/07 - Provista complete migration of large Checkpoint firewall to a high-performance Cisco FWSM solution. Customer downtime was negligible during switchover due to diligent planning and testing prior to go-live date. 05/11/07 - Provista are appointed primary consultants and technical resource for growing Media Company. A full WAN re-design is included as well as the addition of customer sites across the UK. 12/12/07 - Provista Remote Monitoring and Engineering customer base continues to grow with a new long-term contract from a large Scottish health organisation. 18/12/07 - Provista successfully complete Cisco IP Telephony upgrade and maintenance programme for large cluster with 3000 handsets within the education sector. 04/01/08 - Provista exceed year-2 financial targets with a highly successful 2007.
