Provista have secured a wireless project to design and implement a Wireless LAN infrastructure for National Libraries of Scotland. The technology chosen was Nortel Networks 2300 series WLAN which includes Controllers, Access Points and Management Software. The WLAN is to provide a number of services including Guest access using Web Portal Authentication for a new public visitor centre in Edinburgh and secure access for Staff using highly secure authentication and encryption with integration to Microsoft Active Directory.
The solution will deliver a very secure and manageable WLAN solution to both Guests and Staff. Provista were selected due to our high level of expertise in WLAN deployments and proven track record of successful WLAN projects.
